Rear break Q

This is embarrassing but I'm having trouble squeezing one of the rear break pistons back into it's caliper. It rotates easily with a pair of needle nose pliers, but it won't go back in with a big C clamp. The break line is off and the zirc fitting is removed, too. It just won't budge. Am I missing something? Shouldn't it just slip back into the caliper fairly easily with the fittings removed?

Thanks,

Tom Brown

for the rear brake caliper, DO NOT use a clamp!

you have to screw it clockwise back into the caliper with some needle-nose pliers
just take your time and be careful not to damage the boot around the piston when you do this
