I think as soon as I get my car back from the shop, I will try to replace my heater core myself. I think If I can wait nearly 3 weeks for a shop to install a transmission in my car, then I can spare 2 or 3 days to intall the heater core myself. This is ridiculous, three weeks and the transmission hasnt been installed yet! Before this happens again I will invest in the tools necessary to do the job myself!
