Is there a quick ckeck for no heat????
A co-worker of mine has a 90 Se and today he has noticed that there seems to be no heat. This is a first. Can anyone tell me if there is a quick check on this problem or should it be taken to the shop? A quick response would be appreciated.

He didn't say. I would assume the fan blows, but never heats up. I know this information is limited and it is sometimes hard to diagnose problems with limited info. What is your thoughts?

Just this past Friday I had to remove my heater motor and clean it out. There was an excessive amount of leaves and dirt in it, I even removed the motor cover and cleaned it out. Works fine now, quiter too! I did have to remove the glove box, but that was easy and was done in about 10 minutes in a parking lot.

Check the vacuum hoses that connect to the heater control valve. It is located under the hood, in the center, at the firewall, at the top.
