I am new to the Maxima group(93' GXE, 198k miles running like new 3rd owner)and am now shopping for stereo equipment. I am seeking suggestions for the front stage. Ideally, I'd like to do something like kick panels with mids and tweets, and midbass in the stock door location. I have also considered waveguides. Is anybody still making these? It's been quite a while since I was into car stereo, so I need a bit of help. I understand that Q-Logic does not make anything for the car. I think that I want to put a CD changer in the front center console armrest, so that I can have a cassette up front. I am lookig for some type of trunk arrangement that would allow me to save as much space as possible while hiding all gear and getting good tight bass. I also would like to do the install myself. Can anyone point me in a direction to make things a bit easier.
