Wiper troubles

I seem to be having trouble with my wipers, I can squirt all the fluid i want on the windows, but nothing happens when I try to start the wipers (fuse) is fine. Pulled the unit from the steering colum and opened it and cleaned it out and replaced, but still no go.

I tried jumping connectors on the 8 din socket for it, but was only able to get more windshield washer fluid.

I wish this was just a faulty wiper unit, but it seems to be something mroe problamatic. Any ideas?

Does the motor sound like its going when you put the windshield wipers on? There's a joint between the motor and the wiper arms that falls apart sometimes, mine did, and has been doing so frequently...

nope, no sound. if i remove the unit from the steering coluum, I can jump the last two nodes on the harness and case washer fluid to spray out, but thats about it.

(that dosent even happen when the unit is connected
