nope, you just pull up the back seat bottom, and remove the access cover.

For some reason japanese cars do this with fuses alot. They never mark all the things it powers and you would be amazed at what drops out when they pop. if you ever suspect a fuse, you have to check them all, not just the ones you think it might be.

Really? Thats odd, I know thats the fuse I replaced. I will double check tomorrow but I'm pretty sure thats it. I'm too tired to check the wiring diagram to trace it as well. Anyone know which one it should be then?

fuel pump fuse is either top right, or somewhere in the middle of the left (see my diagrams on page 1)

i dont understand what would cause that fuse out of all of them to blow and what about the anti theft system being broken would cause the car not to start?

This is weird, I went out to replace it today and just for laughs I tried it with the fuse out and it started fine. Now I have no idea why it wouldn't run. I really need to inspect the wiring diagram to see if the 2 can be related in any way, weird coincidence if its not related. Question, will the fuel light go out if its too low? The light was not on when I had the problem and I added a gallon just to make sure, but the light came on when I got home.

My fuse map is the same as the first one that caped posted. Same as yours too. Except all the fuse ratings are lined up, I cant deal with them out of order as an electrician

yeah that was probably the problem all along the light will go out everytime u turn off the car and wont come on for about a mile of driving no matter how much gas is left you generally have 30-50 miles once you see the light the first time but just because it goes out doesn't mean it was wrong

i ran out of gas once and the whole time the light kept going away at every stop i made so i just kept thinking i had another 30 miles left and then the car died with the gas light off

did the car start right up or did u have to crank it awhile?

there is a low fuel warning black sensor on the bottom of the fuel pump. If it gets lazy (not workin properly) or doesn't work or not making a good contact then u cant trust that sensor....my fuel warning light doesn't come AT ALL cuz that sensor is dead, all i have to do is go to JY, take the fuel pump out and pull that sensor outta that but too lazy to go and do all that in SNOW...

It probably has a bad ground. Get a piece of wire, attach it to one of the screws on the fuel pump housing, then the end to one of the screws on the top cover.
