Squeaking noise!! help?
Just today, started up my car after work
and ran over to 7-11 to buy some stuff
and I heard my car making a squeaking sort of
noise. It sounds like it's coming from the
passenger side of the motor, near the alternator.
Sounds like maybe a pulley is rubbing or something.
Any ideas?

Heh, I also left a "belt" suggestion on the BBS, but if you think it's a pulley bearing, try taking a spray bottle and squirting a little shot of water onto the bearing and see if the noise stops for a sec. Not sure how to fix it (depending on which pulley) or why (possible misalignment?), but hope this helps.
btw, just for a story, the waterpump on my dad's Caravan went horribly wrong somehow and when we changed it the pulley/impeller shaft was actually EATING into the housing it was so badly worn and out of whack. The noise it was making was annoying and constant, but tolerable.

Well... it sounds like its squeaking at a regular beat.
Can't hear it too well when i'm revving the engine, but
it sounds like its squeaking faster when the engine revs up.
It might be a belt, but it really doenst sound like one.
Oh well, I'd rather get it fixed then do any cheapo solution.
Time to start figuring out all the leaks in my motor.
