Clutch replacement... IDK
Clutch replacement... IDK
Hmm , I went to start the car yesterday and after it warmed up a lil I tried to drive away and it wouldny go into gear. I tried a couple more times and then I got into first, second and finally third. I parked the car and when I went out this morning ,I cant get into any gear at all. I looked at the clutch fluid and its not full, but more than half full. Also my clutch pedal stays on the floor when I press it unless I pull it back out myself. This started last night. Can a clutch go bad overnight or do I need to adjust the cable, or could this be happening because of too little clutch fluid in the reservoir?
If I need to replace my clutch then I will get the Fidanza also. I just want to make sure I need to replace the clutch before I shell out $500. Thank God there's a GD going on for the fidanza for $335 shipped, and I see exedy clutch on Ebay for like $140 shipped. Im kinda hoping for a package deal from somewhere if I can get it.

You don't have a "clutch cable"
you have a hydraulic clutch system. You either have a bad clutch master cylinder, or a bad clutch slave cylinder, or maybe(long shot)a leak in the lines somewhere.

it'll go into reverse if you had the car on a hill and let it roll an inch or two while pushing the shifter into reverse. but anyhow, that indicates that your clutch just isn't letting go, which supports greeny's post.
