Update on the situation. All six cylinders are getting a spark (so good NGKs, harnesses, and good coil packs, no?) and all six seem to be getting fuel (refurbished injectors on original fuel rail), yet I am still misfiring. Intake seems to be sealed. Still have not found that PTU yet. Figure that I will throw in the towel and have the shop look at it...

what do you mean "haven't found" the ptu? you can't find it on your car? it's on the driver side of the front head, toward the valley (next to the cam position sensor) http://boredmder.com/FSM/Nissan/Maxima/1994/ec.pdf page EF/EC-155 has a picture and there's another one on the next page on the upper right corner.

also, when you say "seems", did you check for a vacuum leak the way the FSM says to on page EF/EC-220 step 4?

I know where you are talking about now! I must have stared at that too many times. For the leak, starter fluid was sprayed around where there were suspected to be leaks. I did not know about that vacuum hose. Lately, I have been having my friend work on it as he works in a shop and I have been in school. I rely the information here to give him some pointers.

Also, as he works there in the shop, he was doing this more of an "off to the side" project, but my friend suggested that I get the help from the shop so that I can hurry up and get this thing back on the road. I have been screwing around with this thing for close to three months and would like to have it back and running right soon...

All in all, thanks for the pointers guys! I will pass on what I learn from the shop!

An update on the situation! She works now. Turns out it was a couple of the new injector seals and an intake manifold gasket. Must not have installed the injectors right...

Anyway, happy St. Patrick's Day folks!
