Engine Misfire

Don't know how to explain exactly but neway... The engine is miss firing on #1 #3 #5. I checked all vacuum hoses and all seem to be in good shape. I just took out all of the injectors and flushed them yesterday and installed them and this was what happened when i started the car. I just check the ground pulses that are sent to the injector and they aren't consistenly pulsing...so i assume this is the problem. Now...wat the heck is causing this? Lol

so none of the back three are firing? When you say you took them out, did you just remove the rail, or did you take the injectors out of the rail? If you took them out, you might have pinched the o-rings on the way back in.. make sure the connectors are all nice and clean, double-check the resistance on all the injectors. also how are you checking for the ground pulses?

Well they are firing intermittently(sp)...i took one out and change it, new seal was used and funny enough this is the second time i did this within the last 2 days because the first time i did pinch the seal. But i made sure not to and then i pressure checked it to make sure. I am using just a test light on the ground wire going to the injector. On the front i am gettin a consistent pulse (from the ground) but on the back three i am gettin a consistent miss ...if that makes sense to you. For instance, 1,2,3,....1,2,3,.... So the engine is surging. Rpm is boucing between 1500-1900 roughly.

you don't want to use a test light. that's bad for the ECU, because the ECU is especting a certain resistance, and the test light has a very different resistance. So it's possible to fry your ecu doing that.. hopefully you haven't. What you want to use is a multimeter to test for your grounds.. that won't hurt it. One way I've done it was to hook the 2 probes of the multimeter to the harness and read the average voltage per second.. if at idle, that number fluctuates alot then that indicates that the ECU keeps changing how much fuel it's trying to fire form that injector (or bad wiring)

Having the same problem what wiring should I check? My grounds? And or my injectors I did take them out for the oovi swap maybe the O rings aren't sitting right
