Wow! That car is very clean. That's too bad it was wrecked. Have you gotten another car yet?

Peace.

Soon2BMaxed...im LIKING those wheels on your white max....1991 and after they made those SE wheels chrome alloy and i have a 92 but the previous owner had them sandblasted and painted because apparently the original chrome/alloy finish was chipping/fading. I think they look too dull, like the 89-90 finish. But I see alot of 91-94 SE's with those wheels and they look all chipped and corroded but the ones on yours look good. Know where I can maybe get factory 91-94 SE wheels like that or get mine re-chromed? (also, what shade of tint do you have on that car? ill be tinting mine in the spring)

heres my car with the wheels now:

I've heard that done before. Once the clearcoat on the polished alloys begin to get old and go through weather, They start to corrode. Mine are definite corroded around the centercap. I was drooling the other day because I saw a Black 1991 SE that was very similar to my car in perfect condiditon. The alloys looked brand new. I asked the guy who owned it how he got them to stay new looking and he said "why wouldnt they? The car has 50k miles on it"

Your old car looks exactly like my car now. I had a gray metallic 93 se and then i got hit by a semi truck. I kept the car though and went out to buy another 93 se with a blown motor. i had the motors and tranny swapped and for some reason it runs even better than it did in the original. I took out the orange panel in my taillights so they are red and clear and then painted them to look like a skyline. i haven't had a chance to take a picture yet though.

thats because there was an attachment feature on the forum that is no longer available. Now the only way to post an image is to reference a link to a web page.
