switch the "sort by" field to "relevancy" and also search for threads by mrgone. that should help.

It would have looked hot if you just did the trim peice around the gearshift and stopped there. Just an opinion.

I tease. This mod actually looks a lot better in person than pictures can show. I know because I've seen it first hand in my bud's 3rd gen in the exact color you did it. He did all the door handles to match as well. It's not my first choice, but it isn't anything to hide from lol.

Mine has the carbon fiber! If you want a good idea as to what I am talking about, check out Craig Brace's link. It is the same thing.

Is there any truth to this?? Just curious, I've been leaving it in between. Manual says it will decide what mode depending on the situation.

well with it in power, it just shifts later, meaning that the same-rpm shift will happen at a lower throttle position, which puts less strain on everything.

Well, I threw it in power and it just bangs too much with normal driving for me. I suppose it's because when I had the tranny rebuilt I had a shift kit installed.

hmm.... how are your motor mounts? if you don't know the answer, likely answer is "shot". nc90gxe thought his were 'decent' until i pulled his front one out and it crumbled into a pile of rubber on the floor. Greeny'll be the first to tell you how important motor mounts are.

(nc90gxe's "decent" front mount)

My mounts are still good. What I mean by bang is the feel of the shift, not the bang of the drivetrain movement. The shift kit has a more aggressive shift. If I leave the switch neutral, it shifts great. When I had it in power, during slow driving it shifts harder than it should.

Heh, years of practice/trial-n-error, and sometimes i still screw it up.

Remember, several light coats are better then 1-2 heavy coats, in other words, don't get in a hurry painting something, as you usually cause yourself more work in the end..
