Fog Light Ideas.......

Anyone know of any options that I can utilize for other fog lights, I have the current se stock ones on there now and they aint worth 2 cents, I want to put something on that is relatively stock looking, but i also want the brightest possible, I drive on country roads alot and I want something that I can use late at night. Does anyone know of any dual filament fog lights?? Meaning high and low beam?? I have never heard of anything but thought one of you gusy may have... thanks again

ok

first, no one really is going to respond to your post. I posted the same questiopn about a month ago. I decided to go with drivng lights instead of fogs. Lighting is is much better with the drving lights, which still look pretty much stock.

I never saw the post or I would had responded

No dual (high/low) beam lights that I've ever seen. There are other options though. You've got mail.

yeah, foglights are more for people to see you. i have a set of small yellow round ones, they're not the big assemblies with the small lights like pilots, they're just small and sorta oval/roundish. not the 3" wide ones!!! EVERYONE that sees my car comments on them. what's funny is i pulled them off one of our civics that was goin to the junk yard! i'll post pics asap.

Personally, I would have to disagree. I wouldn't drive w/o my driving lights on. Even after replacing my stock lights with projector fogs, I still drive w/them on all the time and get about as much coverage out of the smaller assemblies than the larger stock lights. Especialy on the back roads in Tennessee (you know we have to be able to see the skunks and Moon shiners roaming the back hills!) : )

Do you want extended frontal visual range or lateral wisual range?
I just replaced my SE fogs because they were so pitted with road debris with HELLA rectangular driving lamps that I had laying around in the garage. I'd like to be able to show you a picture, no digi cam though. The "driving" series project a beam about 1 mile long. YOu literally can see that faw with them. I am ordering some "fog" versions to compare. All you need to do take your old SE foglamp including bracket off unplug the harness use some self tapping sheet metal screws and put the hella bracket in the same place. tap into the existing witing harness with wire taps and aim and asjust. Here is the driving kit...http://www.performanceproducts.com/A.../PP07F1_SM.jpg
<i>"The high-performance lamp is made of high-impact ABS plastic. It can be mounted upright or pendant. Each 550 Kit contains (2) halogen lamps, (2) 12V 55 watt halogen bulbs, (1) pre-wired color-coded wire harness with 12V fused relay and illuminated rocker switch and (2) stone shields. Pre-fitted cables make installation easy. (Drilling may be required.) Dimensions: 7 11/16"L x 3 3/4"H x 3 1/4"D" </i>

You can buy them at Pep Boys and even order them from their catalog.
www.jcwhittney.com has them too for about $60.00

I am the owner of a set of PIAA 1900x foglights that will be installed before winter sets in. I chose this particular light because the style complemented the car very well and I needed something with some good throw since I do a lot of driving at night.
