Jiggle Sound Gone

Maximaman and all - the jiggle sound (looseness sound in front end) is gone, looks like the brand new axle did the trick.

By the way, how did you guys torque the rear suspension if it says it has to be on the ground. I can't see how I can fit a wrench in where the wheel is on the other side of the radius rod bolt...the wheel looks in the way.

OK, maybe the stabilizer bar is possible but you guys followed the FSM for that?

I guess here is where you need the lift where the car sits on the wheels.

Not so fast - oh oh - a new sound

Caped I'm not sure if it really was in all the way now. I'm going to take a photo tommorow, and post it. It's making a horrible new rotating sound, that's definately coming from the axle area. Although, as I put in new front struts, can a mis-alignment also cause a horrible clunking sound too?

Tommorow - more diagnosis. I don't get it though, when you push the new axle in, it made a loud clunk sound and abruptly went in. Then, I tried to pull it out and it didn't come out. Can these things really be 'halfway installed'?

Thanks bud - problem solved. It was just the wheel nuts on the front left weren't tightened properly.
