Perhaps if you spent less time making foolish threads and more time searching, you would know there are no cams available for the VE. Seriously......

Not alot you can really do to improve your heads. Use this chance to replace or upgrade sparks and injectors, and replace gaskets (some gaskets can give slightly higher performance than regulars, not really worth the effort and money though).

did u get a nwp kit yet now's the perfect time to install one?

otherwise u can just get new oem camshafts (if u cant find performance ones or afford custom) there is alot of value to brand new cams on a 100k+ engine

oh yeah and high temp paint on the valve covers

well you could get a spare set of stock VE cams and have them base-circle reground. base circle is the circle that would exist if the lobe didn't have any lift at all... if you make THAT smaller, you effectively make the lobe tip more 'prominent' ie more lift (and the machinist can choose where else to grid, which can affect duration too). then you shim it to take up the slack of how much was machined off.
