Black interior

UPDATE: PICS UP NOW
3 Pics here + More on my photo album on profile

Finished this up yesterday, painted all the pillars, roof, visors, etc black.
I kept the clips, handles, seatbelt surrounds and sunroof seal their normal colors, but I'm thinking about going over those in a dark grey for a 2 tone effect.

I would say it feels smaller inside now, but I swear to god that the interior size of my car has actually decreased.

Yerstday I uploaded some pics here of the center B pillars, showing how beneath the carpet/fuzzy ****, theyre actually comprised of the same material as the lower half of the door pillar, lower half of the door, center dash console, etc. Its solid and has a matching texture. Taken the pictures down now but if anyone wants to see, let me know and I'll link em.

Hmm, interesting. Although, IIRC, didn't some of the early year SE's come with the pillar trim already black? I seem to remember when I had my 3 gauge pod pillar (which was black) that I intended to go to the junkyard and get the passenger pillar from an older SE (89-90 maybe?) that I saw so that they'd match.

Of course, I guess your find would probably just confirm that there were some SE's that came without them covered in fuzzy fabric, which makes sense why they're actually textured underneath.

The front pillars where you'd put your gauges arent the same, those A pillars and the rear C pillars just have fuzzy stuff over a very thin sheet of plywood....its almost as fragile as the sh*t up in the roof.
Only the center pillar has the solid textured stuff beneath it.

Confusing....

4 hours till daylight, then I can take some pics.

I've seen bare pillar trim once or twice, kind of strange that they would even offer it. Maybe it was requested by buyers who smoked...
