Turn fuse blowing when ignition turned off

Probably covered before but search didnt turn up anything.

Heard a weird sound from rear right, sounded like the ariel trying to put itself up or down and being loud about it. Weird, as its never worked and isnt wired up to work off my new deck anyway.
Ignition barrell light, clock, cornerning lights and door pads all inactive, and AirBag light is on permanent.

Turn fuse (10A, actually had a 15A in place) was popped, replaced it (when pushing it in, that sound at the back flickered a little, along with the interior lights and ignition barrell), everything was working fine again until I pulled the key and it popped again.
Same symptoms, same components not working.

Where do I start looking ?
There's a few dodgey wires (previous owner) and my running voltages are a little low I think (mid 11s at idle, and mid 13s from about 2500rpm), Ive had countless eletrical problems in the 3 months Ive had this car, Im hoping all these problems are of the same source.

Dodgey wires eh?(need more specific info on this) remove any ghetto rigged wiring from where ever it's coming from/going to..put it back stock..

Voltage @ mid 11's at idle/ sounds like a bad alty..It should be in the mid 13's.

Also, check the rear bulb assemblies for corrosion, this can and will cause fuses to blow..

Dodgey wiring = some wires coming through the firewall for the CD player, i can also see a direct wire off the battery terminal, which Ive never traced, its a different color, but maybe it connects to the CD player wire at some point. The old wiring harnesses for the stcok system behind the dash and at the back have just been taped shut all together, not properly removed.

I'll pull the alty off my parts rig before I get rid of it, another spare part I wouldnt mind having in either case.

Rear bulbs? Im guessing you mean taillight bulbs? I swapped both light covers today and couldnt see anything out of ordinary on the boards, but I'll check again now.
EDIT: Bulbs are all looking good.

Thanks Greeny.

i know someone who had this on their 89 civic.... i think its called an inhibitor.... it had something to do with his subwoofer the guy had insane electrical problems he couldn't figure anything out.... he had mechanic's replace the alternator three times because they told him that it just kept breaking....he replaced the battery and a bunch of other small electrical peices and nothing seemed to work.... so he just removed the whole sound system and his car works fine...

my guess is a problem in the wiring at the ignition column.
Check the wiring diagram and see if the airbag circuit coincides with the turn signal circuit anywhere.

BTW as others have stated remove/disconnect ANY aftermarket wiring that you find. sometimes it can be the answer to the weirdest problems.

Thanks guys.
Is it possible the wiring at the back could cause this?
Like I said, the main harness for the stock system (have been replaced) had just been cut, grouped and taped together. Is it possible a wire shorting out that frame at the rear could trip the antenna, bulbs, anything linked to the turn fuse ?

Get all that ish back to stock...we can't help you in any way until the wiring has been returned to stock..
