Greeny's Gone :sadwavey:

Welp, shes gone folks.. I was hoping to hold on a little longing to her for some more parts, but the landlord is selling the place, so it had to go asap. I still have many parts i pulled off the car still available in my for sale thread though..

I don't agree with your decision.. If it were rusted out or had severe damage then I would. But that was a pretty damn clean green VE. They aren't exactly plentiful..

Think about it...nearly 350k on the engine/chassis/some major rust forming on the rear left strut tower and both rear door quarters/transmission locking up on me every other day yet again/ paint fading like a ****..VS. a super clean vg with 130k/no rust at all/no major mechanical problems...

you make the call..

Didn't know it was rusting out. In that case, I guess it's justified.. Still sucks to know that it's about to get crushed, body looks pretty dang clean in the pics.

Meh, the body is "decent", but in no way nice. It had plenty of dents, none of which i wanted to fix ..

All in all, the decision to dump the ve had many factors. Rust, mileage, maintenance, along with my longed waning desire to have a manual car as a daily driver. I've had manual cars as a d/d basically my whole life, with a few exceptions in between, it's nice nowadays to just pop it in "D" and take off ... I dunno, i guess it's part of growing older(for me anyway)..

I wouldn't mind having a manual car again as a joyride toy, but never again as my D/D..

lol, actually i sold the headlight bumper thingies to a member..They were in nearly perfect shape..

To be honest, I'm glad the damn thing is gone, i was sick of looking at it all tore down. And hearing the landlord bitaching about it sitting there all the time.. Can't really blame him though, it was an eyesore..

No name change, I'm kinda used to this one..

Is it ok to think of it as MyGreenMax94, and your current Greeny?

Just saying. :P

That car looks good. There are a lot of ext parts you could use for your VG. But oh well.
Be proud, you raised a good car.
