92 maxima SE white smoke coming out exhaust
Hey guys I just replaced my front 3 injectors and It ran fine the first five mins to work then when i left work it was shoothing white smoke out my back end of my exhaust. When i reved it before leaving when i noticed it was smoking my rpms dropped to almost 0 and it almost stalled. So when i got home i unplugged the front three coils one by one and the middle one didnt do anything. So i swapped it with another one to make sure the coil wasnt bad and it worked fine. Is one of my injectors i just bought stuck open and shooting alot of gas into my car making the smoke??? The three injectors were bought off of rockauto.com and they are remanufactured.
No smoke was coming out of the exhaust before i replaced the injectors!!

no but could that cause alot of white smoke?? Should i just buy new orings and put them in before i get new injectors?? and it didt appear to be working because when i unplugged the coil it didnt have a rpm drop.

Yup, re-using the old o'rings usually will cause fuel to leak past them into the cylinders= you running hella rich. Definitely put new oem (genuine nissan) o'rings on all the the injectors you replaced.

yeah its running really rich. I had two of my buddies stop by that are machnics and i had it running for like 20 min and it burned a quater tank in that time. i guess im off to get orings and rip it apart again. Thats again greeny yours always on top of ****!! Ill let you know if that works.

By far the most important thing to do is lube the o-rings with petroleum jelly and seat them very carefully by screwing the hold down cap as evenly as possible. New o-rings isn't the magical cure, they will pinch just as easily as used ones when installing these terribly designed injectors.

All new orings came on the injectors except the one that is between the fuel rail and the engine. Thats the one that i didnt replace. Does anybody know if you can buy them by itslef instead of a oring injector kit??

from the left...Injector rail insulator(under the fuel rail)/ looks to be the pintle cap maybe, not sure/ Large top injector o'ring/ small bottom injector o'ring
Doesn't matter though, get the genuine nissan o'rings in the links i gave you. the aftermarket o'rings tend to suck..

Its the injector rail insulator all the other orings came on the injectors. the links you posted dont look like it (the one all the way on the left) are they gonna work for the one i need to replace??

nope, the insulators have nothing to do with the rich running condition..you either have a bad injector(good chance since you bought crapa$$ remans), or a pinched o'ring on one or more or the injectors you replaced..

OK so I took my fuel rail out again and took out my middle injector (the one that was bad?) but anyway I guess i didnt install it properly and the orings pinched and got cut so Im leaving now to get new ones and then install them right away ill let you guys know what happens. Thanks for the help and greeny im going to the nissan dealer instead of getting crap parts LMAO!
