The oem moonroofs on these cars are not sealed, they have drain tubes in each corner of the moonroof assembly(4). your drain tubes are clogged with dirt/debris.

These tubes exit out behind each wheel, behind the mudflaps(if your car has mudflaps) Lots of members have had good luck using a air compressor to clear out the tubes of debris.

Stick the air hose into the exit points behind each wheel.

also make sure your sunroof is flush with your roof on the outside. if it is not then water will get around it and leak into the car.

no, just leave it open and blow through the exit holes that Greeny stated above. then close your sunroof and make sure it also sits flush with the roof of the car as what Brian stated in his post. if it does not sit flush there is your other problem.

Oh ok got cha now understood wrong, so after I go through that process let it sit flush, and the next time it rains if it doesnt get wet then solved my problem, if it does get wet them roof isnt sittin flush

no, clean the drains after that make sure the sunroof sits flush and then pour water over it and see if leaks again. if it doesn't sit flush obviously it will leak. now again, if it doesn't sit flush then either it might be sitting too high and you have to remove some shims or maybe your sunroof rails are broken and need to be replaced.

one more thing if the rails are broken, there is no need to replace the whole sunroof assembly. all you need to do is got to your local junkyard and remove the sunroof from another 3rd gen and ****** the two rails that bolts to the sunroof. easy fix and you are done. only replace these if they are broken. and if that ain't the case then you have to either add shims or remove shims so that the sunroof can sit flush with the roof.

Does it go up and then seem like it get stuck? Mine did that for a while and then I had to adjust it a little by loosing the assembly and tapping it forward a bit. It was mostly due to my having poorly installed it in the first place.

check the drains on either side of ur sunroof between the frame of the car an the sunroof, that always works for me one of the drains could be pluged ie pine needles, dirt,ect... hope that helps
