my buddy cut apart a fram oil filter the other day. . . there were newspaper clippings inside. . . i don't know about you guys, but i don't think i'm going to use fram anymore. even if they DO have teh nice grippy handle. . .

 

Frams are the worst filters out there. They advertise them so heavily and are so readily available you'd think they were really good. I took one apart once and they are all paper and cardboard while others have a paper element and a metal top and bottom. They have so many different models of filters too like the double life but they are all the same crappy filter. Never buy a fram filter.
