Well, I knew all of them except the A/C belt thing, the subframe connectors(my idea finally put into production!), and the stereo ****. I just wanna know how you got the weight down so low. Maybe tell me on AIM or something? BTW, I knew you could shift like a ****. Justin said it was like nothing he's ever seen before..

I like to work on turbo Maxima parts, touch girls, and play with myself. And I hang at TwinTurbo.NET and the "other" board..

Don't worry.. that won't take too long. there's a box on my floor right now with a big metal snail looking thing in it. something that looks like a Z31 exhaust manifold growing off one end.
now if I can just figure out how to JB weld this damn thing onto my VE, we'll be in business.

and BTW.. almost all those mods I already knew about.. the A/C belt I've known for years.
the rest of the stuff is kinda given.. open up the intake/exhaust for more flow, and give it more gas.
I just haven't had time to do anything to it. between the GF, parents, work, school, I'm lucky to even have time to put gas in the car!

hehehe well I get done with Finals next friday.. I may have to make another trip up sometims between now and christmas. you can teach me how to break tranny mounts.
I guess you never drove my car while I was up there, did you? no way you could power shift that fast in this car- not yet anyway.. just had the tranny rebuilt, and it's still extremely notchy. takes about 15-20lb of pull just to get it into gear sometimes.
but when you really beat on it, it just snaps right into place.

but then again, I've still got the "original" cheap rebuild fluid in it after about 5000 miles since I put it in. it's time to change tranny fluid and see if that smooths things out.

i never did drive it, ran out of time.
i notcied the tranny thing. i actually think its the SS you have in there more then anything. thats one reason why i never did a SS in my maxima. i didn't like the way they felt. but i do like the clutch.
maybe when you get back up here i'll have the gsx running again. maybe go toodle around in it

Well I'd be a lot closer if Jeffy hadn't stolen my contact for parts!
ahh well, no big deal. I'll just do it better myself.

It's gonna be a few months before I'll have time to get the snail bolted up, but it WILL happen!

Its been nearly 3 years

Ain't this a *****. I took almost 3 years for Bryan H to finally give everyone else the low down on his mods. Consider this if he would have had a Y pipe or UDP his car would have been even faster. BTW Bryan where did you get the 70-71mm throttle body plate from?

heh, i dont know why i ****ed you off that one day.. i dont know why you dont belive that my vg auto beat a 240 turbo'ed.. not to mention that i over read that you thought that car had a sr20 motor in it.. which im sure it didnt.. im pretty sure it was a out of tune, KA motor that had a turbo bolted on to it.

no hard feelings ehh?

no hard feelings man.

i think all aztec red maxima's should be all motor. or nitrous fed. either one. but hey. more power to ya fruits

red ones always seem to be the fastes ones
hmmmm

who ever said i was getting a 4th gen?
im selling my eclipse, then who knows. i might end up in an 83 escort for all you know
=oX

but its good to see some of you people still love me

anyways
if you fruits need any help with turbo, all motor, simple crap {yes nismo, 3 years and hundreds of e-mails later} i fianlly reveled it all. or as far as i can remember i did. i may have left out a couple things

nissy. it wasn't a straight 71 mm bore. it went from 71 to stock by the plate. then to 68 on the back side i believe. so basically it was a big ole velocity stack

Simply remove the A/C belt while you're at the track, so it doesn't turn the compressor wheel at all. even when the compressor's off, the tension on the belt causes a small amount of power loss (like 1-2hp), but every bit helps!

just be sure to tighten down the tensioner after you remove the belt. if not, it'll fall off the first time you rev the engine past abou 2000rpm and the bolt spins out of the hole from the vibrations.

My AC compressor broke about a year ago, so i figured why not take some stress off the crank. Since I couldn't use it anyway why not lose a few LBS also. I really didn't feal like spending 250 - 300 for a new compressor anyway. Only thing is.... It's hot as **** on Savannah Ga. It got up to 80 today.

Don't forget about how fast his 2K Celica was with the 50-shot.. I think any car Bryan drives can be considered "fast".. lol. Bryan gives hope to all VE owners.. If he can get a VE all motor to run low 14's then I'm sure there is hope for all VG owners to run low 15's all motor.

there is more aftermarket for the vg then ve or vq combined. just have to know where to look. you can make a vg run 14's easy on motor. all depends on how extreme you want to do it

I spent a couple thousand dollars on my VG and the best I could do was 15.4@91mph and that was not being street legal. But there were a lot of mods which I didn't have that are available such as UDP, Cams, ECU, 5-spd tranny, mandrel bent Y-pipe, etc..

well considering the best VE auto I've seen runs 16.7, and stock VE 5 spd runs about .5 faster, I'd say a 5 spd vg should be into the 14s easy with the pile of mods that Nevin's car had...

ahh well..
I'm not worried about VGs anymore.

You better start to worry about this VG in a couple of months ).

Get the snail and the flange welded onto a spare VE manifold, bolt it up, and talk to me about fuel management so you can make good power and not detonate like certain people who choose to not increase fuel under boost ).
