rpm dead

rpm dead

anyone have an idea as to why my rpm doesnt idel anymore?...
im thinkin its the wirings but could it be the cluster?

like the needle on your cluster is not working? mine isnt either, it will work maybe 5% of the time then it will flip around wildly, but mostly it just stays at the bottom.

i think its wiring, because when mine works (again rare and usually for 10 seconds before it limps or thrashes) the wires must get good contact then i hit a bump and they lose it

try to replace the whole cluster with junkyard one and see if it works...if it doesn't then u have problem and u will have to print out the wiring diagram from the fsm and locate the wire and fix it....i knew wat color wire was it but i cant remember now...

edit: its LG/B and B wire for tacho meter...pull out the cluster and inspect it for any lose connection..
