rpm dead
like the needle on your cluster is not working? mine isnt either, it will work maybe 5% of the time then it will flip around wildly, but mostly it just stays at the bottom.
i think its wiring, because when mine works (again rare and usually for 10 seconds before it limps or thrashes) the wires must get good contact then i hit a bump and they lose it

try to replace the whole cluster with junkyard one and see if it works...if it doesn't then u have problem and u will have to print out the wiring diagram from the fsm and locate the wire and fix it....i knew wat color wire was it but i cant remember now...
edit: its LG/B and B wire for tacho meter...pull out the cluster and inspect it for any lose connection..
