Pulls to the side during acceleration...

I just got done replacing the driver's side knuckle from my parts car to my daily driver. I am glad I did, since the shaft nut came off way too easy, and bearings fell out as I pulled the hub off the shaft ().

so I know I need an alignment, but here is what she is doing:
coasting/braking she tracks nearly tracks straight (slight pull to the left, but I can live with it for a day or two). real problem is when I accelerate: it pulls to the right REALLY bad. I know this is typically a symptom of a bad lca bushing, but I just replaced the passenger side bushing about two months ago.

could this be a symptom of a bad alignment? or do y'all think it's something worse?
It was dark when I took the test drive, so I didn't have a chance to check everything out after.
If its a bad bushing, I bought some 4th gen ES to replace the fronts (ebay ftw! $20, shipped!!), I just haven't had time since I got them, Wednesday, to cut 'em down.

first make sure everything is torqued properly, then get the alignment (and spec sheet), then worry about bushings.

might the axle be pulled out? as fubar as the old bearing was, I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't have time/energy to go and double check tq specs right now, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow...

er... if you tightened the axle nut it can't really pull out... the flat part at the base of the axle splines (outer joint) and the axle nut/washer press the bearings together while holding the axle firmly in place. and it's not like you are using a wrong-for-the-car axle so it shouldn't be an issue with the axle at all.

as long as the bearing on the new2u knuckle is fine and the axle nut is tight, i wouldn't look at either of those.

D'oh! touche... It made sense when I thought about it... I swear, I am not that drunk!
new2me bearing is good (better, at least, and don't have time right now to replace it. got one and two seals sitting on the shelf, waiting).
I'll look at it tomorrow, off to bed, now.

your spindle might be slightly off compared to the old one.
i say get the alignment and go from there.
