To Seafoam or Not to Seafoam - Photos

Here are the photos I was talking about. Now I did the seafoam treatment through the brake booster within the yr before I tore it down. Maybe twice. And through the gas tank a whole can..or whatever the recommended was.

Maybe seafoam is preventative on a clean engine only, but by looking at the dirt in the before photos of my major overhaul on the VG30E, I'm wondering if it did anything at all. Now the question is when if I should start using it again, after 2 yrs. After 1 yr?. Engine needs X amount to break in first I guess. BEFORE & AFTER:

i suppose there's a point past which it's got no effect... but then again sucking in thru the booster hose isn't as good as sucking in thru, say, the vac line that hooks in to the port near the tps (post-TB)

And that way through that inlet it would go to all the cylinders?

Through the brake booster it just goes to that one side right?, if even those 3. On a new engine, when would you start seafoaming it?

well that vac hose would get the back 3 (cuz remember the LIM criss-crosses) and perhaps the watercocck vac line would get the front 3... as far as when to start, i dunno. i have never really had a low-mile and/or rebuild engine before.. just 100K mile or higher stuff.

i'm mad you have a leveler tho

seafoaming early and often does help.

also um i hate to break this to you but your engine is a little backwards
