AWD/RWD 3rd gen
I was talking to my friend the other day and he asked me if 'm going to put a 300zx rear differential on, I said I don't think that's possible n e way, but I want to no had n e one even thought about this b4 or an idea similar??

only driven rear suspension that even remotely resembles ours is the Subaru Impreza/Legacy....... if you can figure out ow to rework the swaybar. both 300zx rear setups are 1000% different (z31 is semi-trailing arm, z32 is a complicated multilink setup)
but in the end, any FWD body with RWD is just fail. the engine is way past the axle, so all the weight is at the front. so it'll spin the rear tires from a lack of traction, and it'll still understeer because the engine's in the front. aka crappy handling.
that's why BMWs and datsun Z cars and Mercedes have so much space between the front door and the wheel well, so the engine can be behind the front axle.

yea, i think last year there were a couple of revolutionaries who were supposedly going to do AWD and/or RWD conversions on a third gen. They were told to do it and post back after they finished......
i've never seen any thread with an awd/rwd conversion on a 3rd gen max.
but people have thought about it.
