Project Lineup

Here's my lineup : As soon as the weather permits I'm swapping out my VQ35DE and tranny in my 02 for low mileage stuff I bought and prepped last year. My 92SE is my beater until then. As soon as that is completed the VG to VE conversion will take place. In the mean time I want to get the electrical stuff (engine room and engine control harness) out the way on the 90 shell.

That's what I'm doing this year...your turn.

That's quite the lineup sir. This year, more like this next month , I will be dropping a VL5spd into my 90 SE which was rebuilt last year. This year, I reap the benefits of learning what exactly was wrong with my Max and fixing it over the past 2 years. Boy does it feel good to almost be at the point where I can drive Max again. Think I may change her name to "reMax" considering I have rebuilt, replaced, and refurbished so many things in the last two years. Happy to see peaople are going big on these cars.

I also intend a VE-5 swap.
depending on how temperamental my pathfinder is after a motor swap (I love my veggies), I may start a vg33+bore+stroke swap. if my math serves correctly, it'll be 4.x L engine. no promises, but meh...

ive got quite a bit to do task list-

build up a cash reserve to turbo and build up everything on the Max in 2011

Fixed all of my rust last summer, but a few places have got it back again so i need to fix it up

search local junkyards for a turbo Z31 to get a turbo for my 3rd gen (Z31 turbo had VG30ET so the turbo doesnt take alot of modding to fit), if i cant find one by July i will have to drive to Lethbridge to the Nissan junkyard where they have Z31 turbo, Z32, Z33, etc. and find one there, owners are nice so i may ask if they can remove the turbo setup for me and put it on the Greyhound to me. worst case a site has rebuilt Z31 turbos for $430

i may get a 5spd swap setup, originally i was for sure going to 5spd swap before i go turbo but i cant see any reason too right now but i most likely will get a setup to hamster away just incase i ever decide to

after i get the turbo setup, keep building up my cash reserve and once i get a fair bit get Nistune or a JWT ECU, most likely Nistune though since i dont want to send my ECU to California to get reflashed all the time

once i have a full cash reserve, buy some Eibach springs and get a custom CF hood/trunk made but that stuff can wait so it will most likely be after i turbo

I know that feeling I'm about at the same spot and I've rebuilt the whole car.
