Is something wrong?

So i noticed something different yesterday while driving when i got home. I had rev'd the car and the rpm gauge would go up, but as it goes down, it would literally take like 8-12 seconds to go back down which means the engine is still revving but slowly going down, i think normally it goes down pretty quick maybe 2-4 seconds. Is this the symptoms of anything bad that's gonna happen? -_- let me know if this has happen to you, i doubt its normal, unless its cuz its hot.

accelerator cable need adjustment or lubrication? pop the hood, and manually rev the engine. does it work fine, or the same?

I would usually spray some wd40 on the throttle and cable when it starts sticking.
