I know how ya feel about the "finding help here" thing. That's why a lot of us 'old school' org-y members don't come here as often as we used to.. But definately good luck on getting your gas leak figured out. Let a brotha know what you find out.

Yah but at least you can drive yours a little. Mines been in the shop for nearly a month just to install a transmission! My gosh hopefully I wont have to replace the tranny again, but if If I do I will buy the necessary tools to do it myself. Im afraid to let it go to the shop for the heater core now! It may take a month to do that. Never going back to that shop again.

I feel blessed to have a mechanic friend who enjoys working on cars and doesn't mind me mingling around on my car in the shop while he is on the clock. Life is glorious with a lift and a $7000 tool box, especially when you are doing a 5spd swap, but that is postponed unfortunately........

Did you check you fuel rails. The rubber hoses. Sometimes you could have like a hair line crack. When the car warms up it closes up. That was my problem in the past. Only leaked when turned on till it warmed up.

mines doesnt really mind me messing with it while hes working on it...as long as its not affecting his work...but with 2 weeks before i head down to florida and ive gotta drive this car...i need it to be burning gas like its supposed to...a full tank right now lasts me maybe a week at most and thats just to and from work...thats not includin around town driving...s**t at that rate it'll take me 3-4 fill ups to make it to daytona beach florida when at most 2 lol
