the 80-100 watt i think you're referring to 9004 headlights which some go up to 80-100 watt to melt down your wiring and harness.

. that may actually be backwards, but the point is the corner ones have 2 filaments, the signals have one. the corners have 2 so that when you turn your signal on, it gets brighter. i don't think the one filament bulb for the signal would actually be as bright as the corner one, but i'm not sure.
