e36 write up

Had a good search (here and google) and can;t find a write up for the e36 headlight conversion.

Anyone know where I can find it?

Cheers

i'm not sure there is one. should be pretty self explanatory tho.. take your headlights out, test-fit the e36's, make a note of how much metal you have to cut for them to fit, cut it, and rig up some metal straps or something to hold them in place.

It looks easy enough but always nice to do these things with a write up if there is one.

Think i'll get cracking with it over the next couple of days and will try and get a write up done myself .

eh, we're lucky there are as many writeups as there are. if anyone would have one tho i'd think it would be craig brace but of course geocities closed down and i think that's where his site was.

Yeah, His site was great for write ups etc but it's long gone now. It's not even stored on the Wayback Machine

There was one or may be two around when i did mine 6-7 years ago. Not hard, just time consuming. Good Luck.

I had done the original write ups (two). Others have improved upon the modification over the many years. But, I think Skymax had posted the original writeup I did. I'll see if I can locate either write up. Gives many good images and a solid starting point.

Took me a while to dig through the digital pile. Here is my original write up and all my images. It is custom, so this will definately give you some guidance. You can make adjustments as you deem fit.
