Time for a new battery for me: any suggestions?
-I'm not in the market for a $100+ Optima racing battery
-Budget is about $80max
-must have good CCA rating
-must have a good warranty period

I have a Deka battery in my car. It was smaller, but heavier than the autozone one I replaced. It is made by EastPenn Manufacturing. They sell their batteries to many retailers and just rebadge them. I paid about $90 for it last summer.

9 year warranty on duralast batteries near me right now. Don't have to pay anything extra for the warranty, it's just included, so if you can find a place that sells them you can go get a new one every 5 years just for ease of mind.

replacement batteries

NAPA battery stock replacement is $53.00, no hassle if any problem, replacement guaranty on the spot. Larger CCA if desired.

OEM Nissan...lasted me 8 years in both my 94 300ZX and 98SE. Around $80 here at the local Nissan dealer. Why go elsewhere for a battery?

If you have a Costco near you, get their's. Consumer Reports called tham a "Best Buy". If I remember right, I paid less than $70 three years ago.

Like someone else said Try Duralast, they are not to expensive like around 60 or $70. I have one and it has an 8 year warranty on it. Not bad for the price!
