Split Boot Replacement for Outer CV Boot
Yes, I know I am better off to replace the axle shaft. The boot has a small tear for less than 300 miles, so I might be able to save the joint. But has anyone replace the outer boot with a split boot (Quick Boot) and had it last a more than a year? If so, what brand? I cannot find a Dorman brand, who usually makes them.
