CHTS differences

Ok so I have a tool that is used for removing the CHTS on the VG, it states it's intended for the CHTS on Nissan's with the 3.0L V6 but does not specify VG or others. So my question is how different are the CHTS between the VG VE and even 4th gen Maximas. I got a deal on them so I got 3 extras and was going to sell them but wanted to be sure what else they will fit. It is a 22MM size to fit the sensor with an offset drive for a 3/8 ratchet. Anyone that knows please help before I post them on e-bay.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I looked through the FSM on both engines of the Maxima and they don't have a CHTS. After doing a Google search it seems that the VG engine on the Z31 does have one.

EDIT: After searching through Courtesy, it is labeled as an ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor). For the Maxima VG, it is easy to get to so no need for a special tool. I don't know how easy it is to reach for the VE Maximas.

I'm a Z31 guy so I just call it a CHTS sorry, on the VG on Z31's it would seem easy to get to too except that the connector is there so a socket damages it, and no way you can use a box end wrench. But then I'm a sucker for having the right tools to prevent later problems. Hell the place had such a sale I bought tools I'll probably never need, but never know when it might come in handy for something it wasn't intended for. I probably got carried away a bit, but I figured some people would be the same as me and as many 3.0L v6's Nissan made getting 3 extra's didn't seem outrageous.

Extremely easy to get to on the VE30DE. I took me about two minutes to change mine in the parking lot at Advance Auto. No special tool needed.

What he said. all you need is a deep socket + ratchet to change on a VE.
