Need a little help i dont have my diagram for my maxima handy and need to know where/what the starter looks like

 

VG or VE? auto or 5-speed?
vg auto, or any 5-speed, it's on the front of the trans.
VE autp its on the top of the trans.

 

Had to search for your other threads to see if you posted if you had a GXE or SE.

Since you have a GXE Auto, it is mounted on the transmission. Just look down in front of the transmission and you should see it.
