I just got this muffler. I want a rumble sound from my car. Will this muffler alone do it, or should I still go head and buy a ypipe also?

To he11 with the sound, but yes, just adding a freeflowing muffler will give you some sound. No noticable power though. A Y-pipe WILL give you more power you can feel, but really won't change the sound that much. If you want sound and power, get rid of the catalytic converter. This would even make a stock muffler sound different. MUCH louder with a muffler like you have there. My suggestion, if your pocket allows, get a WarpSpeed Y-pipe and a full system (no cat)from the y-pipe to the muffler. This will give you significant power increase and it will sound mean!

flow will "probably" be the same, but the 2k has proven to be quieter than most if not all aftermarket mufflers! but personally I like the look and deep tone, so I'd go for the other muffler!

if you want sound you gotta get rid of the resonators. . . . get a B pipe while you're at it. 80 bucks hung at redline. . .
