AC belt noise

THe weather become colder and colder. When my GXE starts, the AC belt noise is very loud.

When I get under my car I figured there is a plastic plate missing, which is in the right front wheel well, originally covers the several belts. THat is because the Firestone guy didn't put it back when I did alignment 2 months ago.

I guess maybe dirt getting into the belts makes the noise. What should I do?

Firestone is the most worst national auto repair chain in North America.

First they overcharge for everything, and the guys they hire no nothing about what they are doing.

It should not be all that expensive and does not take all that long to do. Maybe between the belts and the shield 25 bucks will be invested. Do the belts yourself andthats all it will cost.
