Digital Dashboard Swap to Analog

Digital Dashboard Swap to Analog
Has anyone ever attempted a swap of the digital GXE dashboard (92) with the analog dashboard (94)?
Does this beast (digital display) have completely different wiring to the ECU?

I did the opposite a few years back. Made a mini tutorial: http://pearlmax.t35.com/dd/dd/digidash.htm
If you want to convert to analog, just do the reverse. Swap wiring harness, cluster and fuel sending unit from that of an analog parts car.

yep, you have the fuel sending unit, wiring, and cluster to change.
i was going to go analog to digital and got the cluster but by the time i was able to go back to get the wiring and stuff from the junkyard car, it got crushed. glad i stayed analog though. the junkyard charges $10 per gauge in the cluster, but since the digital one is black when theres no power to it they had to technically call it as one gauge so i got it for $10 if anyone in Canada wants it, PM me. no wiring or HUD

Your video is hilarious - I like it. The music gets eerie near the end, them you hear the accelerator - it made me laugh. I'll read it in more detail. Thanks though for the tips all. Reason I want to keep the old one handy is, I figure the digital display will burn out soon because it's so old. To avoid the hassles for now, i'll just use the digital display, then put the analog one back in if it fails at a later date.
