Bose radio wont play

My bose radio will not stay on. It turns on then turns right off. I hear a click under the dash when trying to turn on the radio. It will play for a few seconds here and there. Anyone know if this is a quick easy fix? Thank You!!!

Grab a junkyard deck or buy an aftermarket one that will blow away the bose. Upgrade your speakers and bypass the amps though or you risk the 1 ohm load blowing away your deck's amp instead . Unlikely, but it will put un-needed strain on it.

I've got a used Bose unit out of a 04' Max. I'm looking for $40 plus shipping. Let me if this helps, thanks.

NO, you need harness adaptors. Plus the faceplate of the 2000 and newer headunits are curved - yours is flat. You can put in a 4th gen headunit, but you'll need the wiring adaptors.
