Lamin-x installed on Aussie corners

Got this idea from Jcarryl when I found out he had Lamin-x on his foglights. I didn't know Lamin-x made any film that wasn't just straight "smoked" (i.e., really dark). But I looked around and they make a shade that's called "tint"

Since I've yet to find any UK corners, I decided to "tint" the non-tinted portion of my Aussie corners. I certainly don't want to paint them, so I tried window tint a few weeks ago to no avail. But this Lamin-x worked like a charm! It's not quite the same shade, but it's close enough and non-permanent. This would work great to smoke eBay clear corners too!

The stuff is actually startlingly thick

Almost seems too thick to work around the slight curve of the corner light but, just like the directions say, using a hair dryer works wonders

For some reason, in direct lighting the Lamin-x looks slightly purple. Especially in interior lighting. At least the corners match my headlights a little better and it's not really that purple-ish in person.

Previously, the corner light vs. headlight difference was so stark it looked goofy
