hey guyz, i just got a amp and a sub box, i was wondering how do i hook up the amp to the stock bose headunit? i know its the remote line , but do i have to by a adapter or somthing?

hey, i installed an amp in my 93 maxima, and all u need to do is hook up the high level inputs to the wires that lead to your speakers. Then find something thjat had 12 volt power and like the antena wire and tap the remote wire into that. You could do this or there is a an adapter that u could buy, but i did it without.

i have the remote wire running over to my headunit already.. spent all day doing that.... and the power wire whitch i ran that to the batt.

how do i get to the back bose speaker wires? do i have to take off the black covers on the back of them?

hey, i ran my wires straight from the back of the receiver, and i hooked up all my stuff to a five channel amp. i did a lot of ghetto rigging, but my system worked. But now i have a new head unit so i got 2 15 inch jl's and 4 8 inch solo barics. They slam!!!

ok im hooking the amp up to the speakeers *back*after the pre-amp. what are the colors of the wires..plzzzzzzz help i have a 90 maxima SE

YES!!!! take the black covers off. . . if you don't have high levels on your amp, buy a high level to RCA adapter at Best buy. . or better yet, just let them put it in!!!!!!!!
