side view mirrors

Does anyone know what it would take to put different side view morrors on? Mine was damaged so i need to change it, i've got the power fold in mirrors. What's it take to put a different morror on?

just go to a junk yard and pick up some stock ones. the 92-94 se all had black mirrors so they will match any 3rd gen maxima.

Actually, there's a shape difference between the 92-94 mirrors and the 89-91 mirrors. you also need to specify whether it's just power or power and heated. they have different connectors on them.
all the SEs had black mirrors. the GXEs had body colored mirrors, again with the shape differences between new and old 3rd gens.

sooo, you'll need to specify year and trim when you're shopping for a mirror.

Alll that being said, I've got a 93GXE left side mirror and an 89-91GXE right side mirror. (I bought the 89-91 mirror thinking it would work, but found out afterwards it won't)
the 89-91 mirror is already sanded and ready for new paint. just paint, reassemble and install.
email or PM me if you want one of them.

Sorry i need a driver side 91 mirror, just power, not power and heated...heated would be nice though.....now how about after market mirrors? You know like people put BMW style mirrors on differnt cars, does anyone know of one that would go on a 91 GXE?

Last Tuesday my brother broke my right side view mirror trying to quickly park in a narrow parking space in my place. I was considreing getting the later version side views until I read this. Is the base shapped differently that creates a fitment issue?

1992-1994 3rd gens are a bit shorter than 1989-1991 models, dont know if that would affect it
