Will VQ30DE injectors from a 95 work?
#2
No they will not. 89-91 vg30 pinkish color 180cc square plug. 92+ vg30e same as 89-91 except they have the oval type plug. The VE and VQ use redtop 259cc injectors. If you are needing a set I happen to have a good set off vg30e injectors with oval type plug.

if you mean that the rails for his car are the same as what he needs to run VQ injectors, then yes. but early-style square-connector injectors' rails are totally incompatible with oval-connector injectors and vice-versa b/c the o-rings are in different locations and are different sizes. not an issue for OP, but maybe an issue for other people that see this thread with 89-92's.

no offense maximo018... BUT, I actually installed 4th gen injectors on my '90 VG and experimented with what fits and what doesn't so here's the whole truth and nothing but the truth: yes and no.
why no?
I had some 4th gen injectors in my car (90 gxe) BUT they flow too much fuel so the car ran very rich. they are 259cc (ve and 4th gen) vs 180cc (vg). without nistune you're going to eventually cause serious engine damage due to oil washdown. and yes i learned that the hard way.
why yes?
on a VG 3rd gen, the fuel rails and injector clips both have to match the 'style' of injector you are using. old style injectors were 89-92 and new style was 94, with 93 switching partway through. all VE and 4th gen use the "new style" injector, hence why they will fit in 93.5+ VG rails. so since you have a 94, only thing you'd need is the injectors themselves, whereas i had to acquire said fuel rail for my '90. ve rails and 4th gen rails only fit on their own respective engines.
so the parts list is:
92-99 VE/VQ30DE injector/o-rings
93.5+ VG fuel rail
93.5+ VG / 92-99 VE/VQ30DE injector harness plugs
