Heat C ontrol

Can any one tell me why my '90 GXE wants to deliver hot air only when I rev up the engine to about 3000 RPM. I have the Digital Package (BOSSE radio) in it.

Thank you,
Happy Hollidays,

Alex

hmm digital climate control...tough one. basically it's cold when it's under 3000? even in slow traffic it's cold? it's POSSIBLE the thermostat maybe getting slow to open or the coolant is old. 1st thing to do it flush the coolant if that haven't been done. see if it gets better. use a high quality antifreeze like prestone (yellow bottle).

Re: Re: Heat C ontrol

It haz perhaps to do with the fact I changed the heater core the other day ... I might have an air buble. It is strange ... The input
hose is quite hot while the output is cold... Like the water does not
want to circulate thru the core ... I'll try tomorrow to disconect the outout hose to see if any whater is in the core.

Thanks, Danny
Alex
