Lmfao im already lowered on eibach 1.2" drops I'm not lowering it anymore.
The rims raised my maxima up a bit but it is also becuase the tires are a bit taller then mine. So I'm reducing the wall height from 45's to 40's

Im going to shoot for MOTM

Also for answering any future questions the rims are 18x9 +30 off set all around. Who said 9inch wide rims can't fit? Lol

Specs? I thought about those but I thought the offsets were too low for the width. Nice though!

Not really, never worked on a gtr 34 for anyone, I'm feelin' your motivation...I've been investing in my 3rdgen and my Volvo 850. Between the 2 of them I've bout 1500.00 in last week and a half.

It helps to have a good parts guy who knows his nissan stuff. Once I do the gtr 34 front BBK ill post my finished products images. Since some people seem to say my maxima will never amount to anything I will just show them. No names mentioned..................

Feels good to be the first 3rd gen rocking skyline gtr 34 rims as far as I can remember. Lol

Thanks dude and that was just college tuition not including my tools bill lol. Next up to prove haters wrong the gtr 34 front calipers as part of my BBK. I dont give up on my 3rd gen like many fakes here who betrayed there maximas and dont care to come back. IFO is coming up in april down at thunder valley. maybe go run her as she is and see what she runs. Double clutch figure out the one things you were telling me you trying to make and let me know.

Doesnt really matter to me my list is longer & I have all pictures of everything to back my work. As I said I'm not a back yard mechanic like most. I'm an actual automotive technician with college training. Why you think I never ask questions here? Becuase most of what most would ask a question about I have already dealt with. I own maxima se number 3 & 4 one my tk3 the other a black se auto ve my parts car and spare block. I've probably seen more problems with these cars then most. Try having your wire harness fry and have to rewire the whole thing yourself. Anyways moving on.

I like this, members are really gettin' back into the 3rdgen!! I have sooo much shyt to do to my Max and my 850...parts all over the place. I also just bought Mobile 1 full synthetic oil, Lucas synthetic oil stabalizer, Mobile1 synthetic trans fluid, Lucas synthetic tranny treatment and a Mobile 1 oil filter. Ive been running a synthetic blend for about a year and it's time to go full synthetic. The trans fluid is conventional with Lucas tranny treatment, so it's time to go full synthetic with that. I haven't wrapped any rubber around my new rims yet...I'm waiting to put new springs, strut mounts and sway bars on first. The driver's side spring is starting to squeak with 2 adults and 2children in her, so as soon as I get a good day I'm gonna bang it all out.

Pictures of the gtr wheels completing full steering lock to the left and right with no tire rub nor contact with suspension components and chassis frame. 245/40/R18 are good to go.

Those GTR's are bad assss man, I'd really like the ride they came from originally. I'm looking to copp a new ride to add to my mini fleet. I've been looking getting a Volvo V70/V70xc or maybe an Audi S4/S6... I'm also looking at Nissan/Infiniti (350z/G35/G35xSedan). I just thought of this when looking at those GTR wheels...I was searching for a right side drive Skyline or even a left side driver Skyline. As everyone probably knows already there like impossible to get in the U.S., especially finding a left hand driver side that came from factory or converted. There way out of what I'm willing to spend...so my search list is up top but I left out the possibility of a Twin Turbo Toyota Supra. Iwas thinking about getting a 5.5gen Maxima or maybe even a 6thgen but they only offer front wheel drive...no rear wheel or all wheel drive. I like the 5.5gen for obvious reasons(255hp vs. 225hp), plus they offered that Titanium Edition/Trim in '02/'03. I'm not even contemplating giving up on my 3rdgen, as a matter of fact I just bought a set of B&G springs for her and have a bunch of stuff waiting to go on her soon(Rims,Suspension parts, Fuel Pressure Regulator w/gauge and some other stuff. It's good to see some of the members on here still invested in there 3rdgens, Keep Wrenching!!

The skylines are all being confiscated by the feds. Any right hand drive skyline is now declared contraband by the federal government. If any of you all took the time to read my posted listed as thought I would share this information. Then you would of read about all and I mean all skyline gtr's and gts's illegal in the usa now.

to get a Skyline/RHD JDM car legally imported into the US you need to get it shipped into 2 halves and rewelded together, and make the lights DOT approved. Canada has the 15 year rule but people have brought R34 in using the half cut way. you can cut one in half and reweld it so cleanly that you would never tell it was cut apart

this is the current lulz on a Edmonton forum, this guy imported a R34 GTR using the cut way, and rewelded it HORRIBLY so that its ridiculously unsafe, as in i wouldnt want to sit in it going over 60km/h. it went from $100,000 to $80,000 to $50,000. nobody wants to buy it because of how crappy the welds were, theyre just going to wait until 2014 to get one in one piece
