Mixed Cluster

I bought an SE cluster to replace my GXE one. My speedo will sometimes run up to 30mph fast. "Really racks up the miles!" I replaced the VSS thinking that was the culprit. No help. Anyway, when getting ready to take apart the clusters and put my original odometer in the SE cluster, I noticed greasy fingerprints on the SE gauges. I got alcohol with q-tips and they would not come off. So, I tried brake cleaner with q-tips. The brake cleaner just dripped on the gas gauge and the tach and immediately ruined the finish. After feeling sorry for myself, I decided, for functionality, I really only needed the speedo, so I swapped the speedo only. It works perfectly. However, I am sure I will get lots of questions about the black & white gauges. Perhaps I can explain that it was a special edition Racial Harmony Maxima proving that black and white can work together.

sorry to hear about that, but that is funny.
"racial harmony"... did they not realize they were Japanese?
for looks, if you got a white 125mph speedo, I would match the tach, as well. (well, I would do it, anyway, so it's less off balance)
