I haven't had stock sways in over 11 years so I completely forgot what the OEM end links looked like. When I first saw your pic I just glanced at it and thought it was a tie rod end with some bushings put on it for some reason

naw the bomz intake and the pursuit of dual exhaust (not to mention the exhaust/axleback selection) blows. i mean all else is well, but i guess youll figure it out down the road

Lmfao I'm not staying n/a I'm going turbo, twin turbo at that. Dont worry about my j30 chassis code maxima. Time and time again our gens have proven to be more then resourceful and inivative. Look at brad92se had a boosted ve making what something near 400hp I believe (brad feel free to correct my numbers) slim im not just some street tuner I went to college for automotive technology it's what I do for a living. I've also been working on 3rd gen maximas since 01 when I got my first se a 93 ve auto. Then my 91 se vg-5 now I have my two newest ones both 93's and se's, with VE30DE engines one an auto black se the other my TK3 VE-5

you got me all wrong. i'm not knocking the 3rd gen max's just a couple of the things you're doing i wouldnt do, as i mentioned above. to each his own....i guess i sincerely had the exhaust selection. i liked the car as it set w/ teh stock exhaust prior to the 'hayame' that you put on there. like i said, its yours, do as you please. i was expressing my OPINION on a part or two, not on what you are doing to the car in general.

Sweet project!

I love the R34 wheels, how well do they fit? What are the specs on them? It looks like they might be sticking out a bit, but maybe a drop will make them line up (and wider tires ) I wouldnt mind getting my hands on a set of those.

It looks like you are getting into the motor a bit, are you going to, or have you replaced the pistons?

No piston work on this motor. Got a parts ve I'm going to be rebuilding for a twin turbo setup. R34 rims are 18x9 +30 offset. Having fenders rolled by a fender roller. And getting 4 wheel alignment with a bit of negative camber. I picked them up off a guy who owns a nissan skyline gtr 32 for only $650. Cheapest I've seen is going at $1,800 for rims no tires.

If I can get a break to take some updated pics. I just finish installing that LTB stg2. Build is about done. Shes getting ready to go for an alignment and to the body shop to be painted. Will have plenty of pics of that. If you want to see pics from when I picked her up till now check out my home page. Elusive keep at it.

Now to buy some mcgard spline drive lug nuts with lock nuts to protect from having my gtr wheels stolen since here in okc little jdm wanna be tuners will attempt to steal them. Brad anything wider then 245 on my tires risks rubbing on my frame or suspension components.

what was the cause of this and what were the symptoms? Also, what type of clutch is it?

I haven't cracked my trans open to check, but this is what I am thinking happened to my ACT a few weeks ago.

It is still sitting in my garage waiting for me to get some free time and decide what I want to do.

Just an after market oem clutch and old. When it went all I heard was a big pop and it wouldnt shift into gear. One of the springs popped side ways also. Wouldnt shift into gear had to shut engine off just to switch gears then back to acc and car rolling already would compression start right back up.

Brad when I do the engine I'm thinking of using hks connecting rods and eagle or some other pistons made for the vg30dett what sucks is the hks connecting rods only come with the hks pistons but the pistons are 97mm and our engines if I remember right can only bore out to 91mm so I'm trying to see if my friend with a z32 wants to go in on the deal and he gets the pistons and I get the connecting rods. The set runs like 3k lmfao way over kill but im aiming to hit 550 to the wheels. And yes I'm doing more to the engine not just rods and pistons. Good thing for having friends in dealerships like my friend jeff at bruce titus nissan who is the nismo parts guy for all my japanese parts needs.
