Blue HID Lights in stock setup?? 8mm plug wires??

I was glancing through ebay, and I spotted some blue or bright white lights for like 12 to 20 bucks, was wondering if anyone else ever used these on a stock set up for 9004 bulbs vs the regular yellow 9004 bulbs without them burning out. Also I noticed they had some 8mm spark plug wires on there for like $60 Is anyone currently running 8mm wires, are the thicker wires more responsive as far as speed goes? I had some 8mm wires on my 2nd gen and I immediately noticed the difference, but they are rare and expensive for 3rd gens. Just wanted to know though. They say they are made in the USA by some company named B&B or (ABC Direct autoparts finder)

Those bulbs are alright but they're just higher watt blue coated 9004's. I'd suggest getting some stronger harnesses if you're going to install those so you don't run the risk of burning your stock wiring.

blue headlights are for retarded ricer poseurs and trailer queens. they are dangerous to the driver of the car, and others on the road. do. not. do. it.

won't even go into the hid-in-stock-housing thing.

plug wires, I am not so sure. I have read lots about FI and high hp NA builds. one of the least productive mods seems to be with upgrading stock components (plugs, wires, coils), despite what the advertisers say. as to why your 2nd gen saw such a benefit, perhaps it was time for replacement anyway? they don't last forever.

+1 on Feedback.

If you need better lighting, do an E36 swap...even better would be E36 projector headlight install. Higher wattage drain bulbs will sooner or later damage your bulb harness.

If you are stock, you don't need larger plug wires. You will see little to no benifit.

when i had my gxe i di the 9007 bulb mod.
this imo was a great mod.
i got those blue looking bulbs in the for of 9007 though.
the bulb wattage is i think 45watts instead of the 35watts.

so with this mod, not only did it actually look like h.i.d., they did'nt blind on coming traffic nor the person in front of me, and it helped me see better.

also i don't know if you noticed those bulbs or certain brands look to blue which in turn you can't see jack ****.
but that was'nt the case with this mod.

e36 mod is the way to go too.

Chrisman287 your Max looks right and your headlights are tight. To OP, I still haven't done they E36 swap yet but when I'm done with the suspension/frame/steering I'll get on it. I would never put those blue annoying assss bulbs in any of my rides, this hack in my hood has them on his Altima and I can't stand him in the oncoming lane. This is all he has done to his ride, meanwhile they sell projection lenses all over for that Altima but some people have no taste at all. Save your money to copp some E36's or go to the JY and find a good pair. I was at the local pick & pull in my hood and seen a clean set of projection E36's still on the Beamer. I was tempted to get them right there but I was there for something else for another ride project I'm working on. I got the clear corners on so far but I'll finish withe e36 swap this summer.
