ASCD not engaging

My '93 cruise control is not working (never has since I bought the car last year).

- Green light comes on in switch
- All buttons on steering wheel is working
- Replaced acuator and pump with one I know work
- Brake switch is working
- ASCD unit has power and gnd
- Resoldered quite a few bad solderpoints in the ASCD unit
- ASCD relay is working

Note: I know the Nissan Laurel need some feedback from the speedometer to have the ASCD working, does the Maxima also need this?
Because I have modified the harness to use with a digital speedo (I made an adapter harness), and something is not wired correctly, since I'm missing several warning lamps in the dash, Engine, ABS and Cruise amongst others are not working when bulb check.

I have a working '90 ASCD unit I had planned to switch it with, but those bastard had redesigned it, so no go.

Any other things I might have missed, or should I just try and get a hold of another ASCD unit for the '93? (easy, since my Max is the only one I have ever seen for sale here that is newer than '90..)

The ASCD does need the speed signal derived by the Speedo cluster, this signal also feeds the TCU and ECU, so if you check the codes on your ECU and receive a speed signal code, then this is probably the issue.

Seems like the ASCD wire from speedo was correct, anyways, Ill go through all the wiring to be sure there is nothing else wrong that may cause this.
